Yes, it'd be Blaziken.

That doesn't mean he's bad, though. Better than Typhlosion, who was Johto's best.

From RSE, I think Treecko. Blaziken just barely beats him. Sceptile is a great staller/annoyer, Blaziken is a good CB'er, and a good EndureReversaler.

Well yeah, the game itself was very good, but i'm talkin about the starters (And most of the pokemon...) Johto DID revolutionise the legendaries with Lugia, Raikou, and Suicune however...

Blaziken is the worst of the Hoenn starters (just barely, though), but it's still a great starter.

Typhlosion was the better starter for johto. Hoenn had good starters, but compared to the others, Blaziken came up short. I guess the only reason why it was good was because it was fire/fighting.

Are you demented? Hoenn had the best starters.

At least you're remotely close by saying Meganium is bad.

Mario Man, are you insane? Just wondering, because swampert, a hoenn starter, is considered the best starter period, and Sceptile and Blazikin, both hoenn starters, are tied for the second most useful starter.

Kanto's starters were a little wishy-washy, it had Charizard, one of the best starters in the game, venasaur, a good, but not great, starter, and Blastoise, the worst.

Johto had Typhlosion, a good, not great, starter, Faraligator, who sucks in general, and Magnium, who also sucks in general.

Hoenn had Swampert, the best starter, Sceptile, the 'grass god' a brilliant starter and the best grass type in the game (Although Torterra might pervail ahead of this guy...) and Blazikin, an awesome starter, but not as useful as charizard.

When i first played Emerald. I started with Torchic not knowing what i'm up against. He's Fighting abilities helped me in the E4 as the Glacia and the Dark Trianer is OHKO to me. So i wouldn't say Blaziken is a bad starter IMO.

i know this is my first post so no one jump down my throat for my comments

r/b/y best---charmander worst--- bulbasaur (reason- i never liked venusaurs overall power and i hate pois types as they don't pack as good a punch in teh first games except for toxic which took time to be very effective)

g/s/c best--- cyndaquil worst--- totodile (i loved to have typlosion with earthquake and flamethrower with slash as backup but feragilator just absolutly tanked as he could never take more than a few hits from most others and despite his appearance never learned any moves worth keeping beyond any later aquired moves

r/s/e best--- torchic worst--- mudkip (i loved blaziken with his sky uppercut and flame kick he worked perfectly agaisnt the elite 4 but i hated swampert becuase he never really got any moves that i turley felt that i needed to keep with me)

d/p best----piplup worst---chimchar (once you get empoleon, you get the starter with the least super effective enemies (fighting and ground) and when teamed with quick claw he can usually overcome the slower ground types with a powerful water move but infernape is basically a blaziken turned into a monkey and torterra from what ive heard is very reliable also but i prefer the steel in this one

overall best--- tie piplup and charmander (cuz charizard is just 2 good to be true) worst--- totodile for reasons above

cyber john, we all know he's very good, but he just isn't as good as Swampert or Sceptile, Hoenn was a great starter generation.

as for dialga...

r/b/y- Wrong, Squirtle is much worse than Bulbasaur.

g/s/c- Wrong, Cyendaquil IS best, but Chicorita is the worst.

r/s/e-WRONG! Torchic is the worst of the three, period. Mudkip is the best of the three, period.

d/p- Right now, it's assumed that turtwig is the best and chimchar is the worst.

Overall- not quite, Diamond and Pearl starters we aren't sure of yet, but for now, Swampert is still the best.

From level up, no, Swampert doesn't learn many moves worth keeping. Just Earthquake. But with TMs and breeding, he gets his best set. It's Curse, Rest, Earthquake, Ice Beam. In-game, he owns everything with Curse and Rest. From there, it doesn't really matter what moves you use. You don't even have to worry about Grass types in-game.

So far, I've had the most success with Torterra in D/P. The only good thing about Infernape over Blaziken is it's speed.
