Why would he need another Fire-type attack?

I think he just means something like how Overheat is only good for two uses, so if you need to use it a lot in a battle (without switching), then you're screwed.

Right, like if Blazikin is your last pokemon, against a steel type for example, KO's it, then they bring out a Graas type, then, for one reason or another, another steel type, then you're in trouble, especially if it's Skamory or Metagross. (This would only happen if your first 5 pokemon blew XD)

Seems DarkLyrics (cyber_john3000) didn't have any more interest in Pok�mon. Meh, his decision.

Still, it's doubtful that your first 5 Pok�mon would be demolished in your example, imaloony. xD And you'd think that after the first one went, you'd switch right into Blaziken and use Overheat to your heart's content, then switch into another Pok�mon, etc., etc., etc.

I also have to say, however, I'm against Overheat all the time. Fire Blast is much preferred by me.

GUys htis is what I want to ask you about these movesets, what I dont understand it like defense if you settin up a light screen or somethign the guy blast u 2 times, I still say plain old atacking works, it has throughout the game, I will admit some need some defence but for most I see no reaosn why.

Another thing Balstoise wasnt that bad, none of the starters where, they all work fine.

In-game that works, but never when battling actual, living opponents with brains.

Blastoise is rubbish. Period. He's an absolute disgrace.

I dont know I really never battled opponets I wanted to try with diamond but I dont know how to set up wifi I have one linksys but I dont know what the wep stuff and everything.

Blastoise I guess that is your opinion I think all starters are good.

ARE YOU OUTTA YOUR FRICKIN' MIND??? First off, they cheat seems like it'd be a boat load of bull crap, second off, that was totally random, if you want to post a bull cheat, take it to the hints or used submitted cheats. Or open a new topic for me to close it, just don't put it here.

K Dawg, IN-GAME all the starters are good, in net battle, Blastoise, Magnium, and Faraligator would get owned. Swampert, Charizard, Sceptile, Blazikin, Venasaur, and Typhlosion are the good ones.

Even then, there's certain extents to Sceptile, Blaziken, and Typhlosion.

And to all you people talking bad about blaziken he will own all your noobs with ease.

No one really said anything bad about Blaziken. It's just that he's the worst of the starters. He doesn't provide much help to a team. It's one of my favorite Pokemon, but it isn't as useful as Swampert or Sceptile.

Hey I'm new here and this is my first post but anyways...
In Kanto I say it's squirtle, he just didn't seem strong enough to me
In Johto maybe chikorita, I have never tried using it but it doesn't seem as strong as cyndaquil or totodile
In Hoenn I'm really not sure, Blaziken is fast and strong, Swampert is a tank, and Sceptile is the fastest grass type ever. But starting out maybe Treecko
In Sinnoh I say Piplup, his strongest move for a while before you get surf is bubblebeam.

Kanto- Correct, Squirtle stinks
Johto- A weak generation, but correct, Chicorita is the worst.
Hoenn- Sorry, Blazikin is worse than Sceptile by just a bit, Sceptile is very good.
Sinnoh- I think that's right, all I know is that Torterra is best.

blazikinpwnsnoobs- lol, you really belive that? Venasaur is better than Blastoise, Sceptile is better than Blazikin, and Chimchar I think is better than Piplup.

Kanto - Blastoise...by far.

Johto - I don't like any of them, but Meganium and Feraligatr both suck more than Typhlosion.

Hoenn - Blaziken just loses out here. Both he and Sceptile aren't a great use in-game. Swampert wins competatively and in-game.

Shinnoh - Never played the games, but the turtle thing looked like it was the best when I checked them out on Serebii about six months back. So I guess either the monkey or the penguin is the worst.

i dont think there are any worst or best starters, i can use them all pretty well, treeko is worst for me

The worst startor pokemon is bulbasure.

Bulbasaur (Usually we call them by their final stages, so Venasaur) is the middle starer, four better than him and four worse than him (Excluding the Sinnoh starters since I don't know how they rank)

Blastoise is pwnable easily :P
