Shiny Pokemon Brag Board

Without my AR, I've gotten these Shinys in all of my GBA games:

Oddish (Ruby, Safari Zone)
Groudon (Ruby, Cave of Origin) (Groudon. Groudon, I tell you!)
Sableye (Sapphire, Sky Pillar)
Lotad (Sapphire, Rte 114)
Doduo (Sapphire, Safari Zone)
Ditto (Fire, Cerulean Cave)
Psyduck (Fire, Rte 23)
Meowth (Fire, Rte 6)
and I may have gotten some others, but I can't remember...

Last night i was training my treecko right over oldale town (just restarted) and i fought a shiny zigzagoon, i didn't notice until i had already done the attack that killed him, i wasn't paying attention, i was watching TV and pressing A to attack, and when i looked at him right before he left the screen, he was brighter than the normal brown, and I got all mad because i knocked out a shiny....argggggh

I got a greenish Taillow and a Gold Magikarp!

Unfortunately it's EASY to tell if you use cheats to get a shiny. They all have MODEST natures. (or at least in Emerald, they do.)

I'm also fairly sure that the stats listed on the shiny obtained with cheats are wrong. They're weaker I think.

They do all have the same nature, but I thought it was Mild. O.o Could be one...

An' that stats are the same, shiny or not. They don't get stronger, just different colored.

i dont have ANY shinys on my sapphire, but i have 3 shinys i found in the wild on my silver:

Black Nidoqueen (Route above Goldenrod City)
Gray Quagsire (Silver Cave: Room 2)
Red Steelix (Silver Cave: Room 1)

I looked more into this.

In ruby and sapphire, I'm almost positive that ANY shiny that's obtained with the over posted AR code will have a "Naive" nature.

Same with the other games. If you use the Shiny code, they'll have 1 specific nature all the time.

In Emerald, they have "Modest" natures.

In Fire Red and Leaf Green they have "Mild" natures.

If you're just trying to collect shiny PKMN, then it doesn't matter.
But if you're into using only VERY specific natures like I do, utilizing shinys isn't worth it if you want to train a powerhouse team. I like to use almost strictly ADAMANT natures.

I had a Shiny Red Gyarados on my team I raised from a level 7 (Gold or yellow) Magikarp. It had a pretty nice special attack and a pretty low Attack. Even moves like Surf that I used on Fire/ground/etc were surprisingly weak. Taught it secret power (which relies on the attack stat) and it did average damage even though the red Gyarados had a pretty low attack stat, which is pretty odd for a Gyarados.

i got a black rayquaza, a yellow groudon, a pink kyogre, a grey-bronze metagross, a dark red blaziken, a yellow latias and a green latios.i also have a question mark like the one in the pokedex when you havnt seen a pokemon, a double queston makk and a ghost (from leaf-green) btw i did not cheat...

How did you get a Shiny Eevee?

if i had a AR or GS i'd get shiny version of ALL my fav pokemon

I have a shiny Espeon, that's all I actually care about because my friend stole my Sapphire.

I have a shiny latios,and a pidgeot,mew and more.Pideot was the only shiny a caught without cheating.

I have a shiny camerupt(black with yellow rings)
shiny aron(bluish hue with red eyes)
shiny scizor(gold instead of red)
^^^^^^^^^all not cheated for just insanely lucky but...
