You can. But only illegally by using this cheat with a rom. So don't even try you would screw up the game if you put jhoto and kanto in it anyways...

you CANNOT get to johto or kanto in this game you start off in the johto region on gold/silver/crystal and when you beat the elite 4 on gold/silver/crystal you can then go to the kanto region and get the original 8 badges from red/blue/yellow.

Wow He must be a real big noob not to know that. maybe if he read nintendo power more often he'd know That There no way of getting to kanto unless u play Fire red or leaf green. I found out about fire red and leaf green in the japan edition of nintendo power.
