If you go to Mauville and go down on route 110 and to the water, there is a secret base in a tree; then if you surf down and read the sign, it says "TEAM AQUA RULEZ!" then once you go inside there are two holes to place solid boards over. My question is, is there something in that base that has something to do with team aqua? I have been in it but I have seen nothing but empty space, is it just another secret base.

nope, dats just a random place with a random sign; it's one of your secret bases... but that sign's always there (in emerald it says both team aqua was here and team magaman rules; in which ever order)
