Talk to the guy on the lower left side of PACIFIDLOG TOWN and talk to the old man if he says the he can see mirage island just surf right and you'll be able to find Mirage island, if he says he doesn't see mirage island you won't be able to go.

i know a cheat to get the mirage island quickly. Just dont activate it in PACIFIDLOG!!

Step 1
open your cheat list in the cheats option
Step 2
Open Gameshark and paste the code, i recommend giving a name to it so it looks more specific
Step 3
Press OK. And fly or surf to Pacifidlog. Talk to the old man in the most right house. And he'll say that he can see mirage island.
Step 4
Surf to route 130 and keep looking. If you go to 129 you're WAY too far.
Step 5
Use this code

as a master code (hope it works though)
then use this code
DCEEEC34 AFEADC26
But youll have to go back to littleroot, and go to your pc and withdraw masterballs all of them.
and you have to go bak to pacifidlog and surf to 130.
Step 5
Look for a level 50 Wynaut. Keep looking until you find it. And if you meet a level 50 Wynaut capture it with your masterball.
remove the masterball code afterwards.
Save the game.
and use this code

look in your pc and withdraw rare candies. all of them.
give the wynaut all of the rare candies until level 100 and whalaa!
