Maybe it wouldn't be so bad to add them

Despite my previous attitude to having 3rd and 4th gen pokemon appear in SoulSilver and HeartGold, I've been thinking that it wouldn't be a bad idea to add these:

Weavile
Mismagius
Honchcrow
Gliscor
and friends.

The reason being is now that these pokemon evolve, it wouldn't be a bad idea to include just them, especially since Johto isn't exactly brimming with usable pokemon (many of the Johto gang weren't so great, and still aren't). It would be fun to have a more diverse amount of pokemon to choose from. Quite frankly, I would quite like to use the four mentioned above.

So what do you think of these four and other similar pokemon making the cut?

I would love to have them added, but Game Freak probably won't, since they already removed Crobat and the like from FR/LG.

True. It's unlikely that they will be available. At least, not until you obtain the National Dex. Although Sneasel is still a good pokemon and I would be happy to use him until that point. I've used him in the past before Weavile even existed (only in 3rd gen, though, seeing as he sucked in 2nd gen). You had to wait until you obtained the National Dex to be able to evolve the likes of Golbat, Scyther and friends in Leaf Green and Fire Red, so I'm assuming Game Freak will take a similar approach with Soul Silver and Heart Gold.

The reason for my change of heart is that I've been playing a lot of Diamond and Pearl recently and I've enjoyed the games. Whilst it would be cool if things remain relatively unchanged for nostalgic purposes, it wouldn't hurt to add a few more recent touches.

I theink the should add all the legendaries.

You mean every legendary currently in existance, correct?

That's unlikely, but from what I know, these legendaries are going to make the cut:

Legendary Dogs
Lugia
Ho-oh
Groudon
Kyogre
Rayquaza
Arceus

Possibilities:

Mewtwo
Celebi (event-only, probably)

I highly doubt any legendaries that appeared in D/P/Pt will appear in HG/SS. For the record, the Legendary Birds appeared in Platinum, which is why I didn't list them.

Add Dialga, Palkia, Giratina in there too cause of that Arceus event. And add Latios & Latias to the possibilities cause they were mentioned also.

It would be great if they added Mewtwo and make Arceus available.

Will there be shamin and jirachi as well.

Jirachi will probably be an event pokemon, as usual. Shaymin, I'm not sure, was he obtainable in D/P/Pt without having to go to an event?

I have never used a cheat device in pokemon and i have not captured Celebi Mew Jirachi Deoxys and Shaymin.
That is why i am eager to catch them.

I just use an Action Replay for those pokemon. I don't agree with Event-exclusive pokemon, anyway.

They're sold pretty much everywhere.

Japan, although it has its own system. Continental Asia (e.g. China, Thailand) have different gaming systems to us, which are shared with South America and Africa.
