If you have a Wireless Router, you can get Wi-Fi.

You need to make sure your wireless router actually can broadcast a wireless signal first. Once confirmed, you need to check if it's secure or not. If it's secure, and it should be (password protected), you'd need to enter the passcode into the DS system to connect. Otherwise, without access to said wireless router, you can't get WiFi.

And remember - only WEP security will work with the DS. WPA will not let you play games online.
