Ampharos needs a more balanced moveset. This all depends on which game you're playing. If you're on DP, punch attacks aren't a good choice. Thunder isn't very accurate, either. I would suggest a moveset such as:
In D/P Thunder, Rain Dance, (Rain Dance leads to 100% accuracy for Thunder) Signal Beam, and Power Gem. In Emerald Thunderbolt, Fire Punch, Toxic, and protect.  Platinum FC: 2278 3029 8129 Sig by Nic21, Av by Dani. Previous Accounts: Power2themarshmallow, Honchkrow is Pwnage |
