...I'm not about to read up on this whole thread to see what animals have been said. I personally don't think it matters what animals are going to be used, because soon enough, they won't really be animals anymore. They'll run out of ideas and start making up fake animals like they did with Palkia/Dialga/Arceus/all those others from the 4th gen. In a short amount of time, we'll all be hearing the same thing; Pokemon = Digimon.

I wouldn't mind a Grass Dinosaur...Raptor wouldn't be a problem. Grass/Dragon is a combo yet to be used.

I wouldn't put it past them to make a cookie. I gave up hope on the series after the 4th gen came out, surprising that others didn't do the same.
