Your little character

New generation, new look, hopefully new options. Customizable character? I do hope that they will add some degree of customization to the main character other than the boy or girl/name options. Somewhat like a choice of different sprites or a make your own sprite part before the game. Thoughts anyone?

I remember when they first brought out the girl/bot option. I was over joyed.

A customizable character would be absolutely awesome.

Being able to customize your own character would be fun. Seein the same little person with the same clothes can get dull after a while.

I would love to be able to change hairstyles and outfits instead of having to go with the one they give you.

Also being able to change the different types of bags as well.

Customization is an excellent thought. It's kinda wierd that you have a trainer style that others see on wi-fi yet your hero looks the same. I can only hope Gen V or a future game has that option.

This is a good addition. Everyone will have there own styles in stead of the crappy Defaults.

The same drab clothes get boring,after all. :D

The old White and Red is getting old for me.

^I think it got old for everyone. :/

I'd love to see a full Create-A-Trainer feature in Gen V. Complete with different poses, skin colors, clothes, bags, & accessories. That would be awesome. But I'm not sure how much space that would take up.

Could also use the money that you get, and buy things....but that seems out of hand. To much in my opinion.

I actually never noticed most of the player characters wore white and red. XD

That's what the Platinum sprites consisted of.
If you also count the blue jacket the boy wears.

I'm hoping for a new change of pace in the clothes.

To be honest, I don't really mind the same two sprite choices. It doesn't really get drab to me walking around with the same look all the time. Besides, I wouldn't bother changing shirts and stuff like that anyways.

I mean, when I get a game, I like to start right away. But then you get so into picking a shirt and hairstyle, you've already wasted so much time it just gets annoying.

I myself am just hoping for a new look rather than customizable clothes.
It just seems to be Nintendo's style to change around the sprites in an insignificant way,ya know?

I agree with the aforementioned. Kari's got the idea too. You normally get bored of the sprites after you beat the game, so it's like what's the point?...You hardly notice.

I suggest that you actually change clothes each day they travel. I mean you're not going to wear the same clothes over and over for like two months! They should make it so they actually change clothes each day, this would make it a much more interesting game.

Well, if you don't count Ash, Dawn or Brock...
