Wouldn't it be cool, if instead of the usual storyline that most gens have followed, it allows us to either become bad or good depending on the decisions we make in the game. For example, in SoulSilver, one of the Rocket members said, "It's a shame you didn't join us, you would've made executive." What if we want to be apart of the team that is in this new gen? This could unlock multiple story concepts and make the replay value of the game skyrocket, because of the different ways the game could end.
I like the idea. I always wanted to take up the offer to join Team Rocket in the Kanto games (after you beat the five idiots on Nugget Bridge), but no...
Sure lets say you were sent to the town to pick something important up and a shady guy asks you to give it to him. If you do he could say something like he thinks you have could be a great addition to his team and ask you to join.
"Don't walk behind me; I may not lead. Don't walk in front of me; I may not follow. Just walk beside me and be my friend."
What if he came to you, and you thought you were dreaming and he starts to fade while he's sayin git and you start to chase him. Then he disappears and you wake up. You go, "I must've been dreaming but you find a piece of his shirt you managed to tear off while chasing him before he disappeared.

It wouldn't really be fun for me, because then the team would win because you're on it and then the game is in a whole new perspective and crap. I'd rather be able to talk to people normally then have them scared at me because of my uniform.
How about you run into him after recieving your starter, then he battles you, and if you defeat him, he recommends joining the evil team. Then, later on, you run into a leader and the guy you battled. They ask you to join, and the choice you make could determine the outcome of the game.
I'm sick & tired of having '10 year old kid randomly stumbles onto evil team & takes out people that should have theorectically been training their pokemon longer & should be stronger but aren't so 10 year kid has no problems & everyones happy'
Seriously; Why can't they give us choices -.-
We can choose which pokemon to use; why can't we choose to use them in any way we want instead of "Good guys must win because thats how the world works!" kind of deal; when we know that isn't always the case.
An ambigous (spelling? lol) game would make me happy

"Forever in this heart of mine, an everlasting bond. From now until the end of time, are memories so fond."
I agree. Most people have no trouble at all beating the game. I recently beat the first 8 gym battles and most of the elite 4 in Soulsilver with a level 48 Typhlosion. It seems as if your always 15 levels ahead of the competition.
You would already have your starter. What I meant by first town is the town after your home town. Anyway I say it should be an early on choice type of thing.
