I doubt that would happen, anyway. It's just too religious and will easily draw criticisms, something Game Freak don't want. Also, it could arguably be Christian propaganda.

They can still be day & night but also represent Yin & Yang, can't they? Day represents light (Yin) & Night represents dark (Yang) so it makes sense to me. The world becomes light when dawn arrives & the world becomes dark when dusk arrives. Sounds like a good story imo.

From what I know, Yin Yang is a representation of the balance positive and negative energies, which I think would be something very interesting. It's one of the very few areas that legendary backstories haven't gone, and I'm liking that sort of idea better than anything from the previous two Generations.

There's a rumor now that Zekrom is part Electric type. Apparently one of the Pokemon Sunday hosts posted a blog where she talks about her love of Electric types. Then at the end she says, "I want Zekrom because Electric-types are cool!" She removed it later though.

Idk, even though it's possibly true I kinda think she might've made a typo here. It doesn't seem to fit his appearance all too well. PokeBeach said that they film episodes in advance so it's possible she meant to say another Gen V Pokemon that we haven't seen yet.

What do you guys think?

If Zekrom is going to be a Dragon/Electric type, I don't see it as the best type combo, in my opinion. For starters, it has alot of weaknesses. It can be useful though, especially for taking out those pesky water types that know Ice type moves. Although that Electric sub-type helps in some ways, it doesn't in many others.

A lot of weaknesses? Three weaknesses? Yeah, because then all pure fire types have 'a lot of weaknesses'.

It's Ice, Dragon, and Ground, that's it. That isn't 'a lot of weaknesses'.

EDIT: Overuse of statement is overused and pounded into the ground.

Overall, Electric and Dragon will be pretty effective.

I would love to see it Elec/Dragon as long as its special move is electric.I dont want another damn overpowered dragon move.same with Reshiram.I dont want a overpowerful dragon move.I want a powerful move thats his other type even if his other type is rock i want a damn good rock move.

Not necessarily, I really don't think it would be to religious as Pokemon has many different beliefs in its story, evolution, God etc. So adding a demon and angel realm would not be viewed in such a way in my opinion, although I do agree, odds are they won't even touch the topic. And I would also have to agree that it would be pointless to put such things in Pokemon.

Again, I'm leaning towards the Yin Yang theory.

Aaaaand now I come to save the day.

A Dragon/Fire type should prove effective, nullifying the Ice weakness, but giving it a Ground weakness.

I have to say I'll be looking forward to STAB Fire Blast and Dragon Pulse~

That's a pretty strong type combo, don't get me wrong. Dragon/Electric has the same weaknesses.

Reshiram- Dragon, Rock, Ground.
Zekrom- Dragon, Rock, Ground.

Fire/Dragon will be interesting. Electric/Dragon already gets enough good STAB moves like Thunderbolt, Draco Meteor, and Outrage.

Fire/Dragon sounds origional. I almost wonder why they haven't had that till now.

Meh,I prefer the Dragon/Fire dual type.I've waited forever to see one.

I'd be going with Reshiram too, especially because Ice won't be super effective against it. Ice seems to be the major downfall of all Dragons, well atleast not with Reshiram.
