Im soo confused!!! HELP!!

how do you assign your bike to the select button? (im a bit rusty at the game)
how do you get infinite items?

Ok, first of all, don't double post. Be patient, this isn't a popular forum.

Second, you can't. The key item registering was introduced in Gold and Silver.

3rd, without cheating (and you can't clone in this game, either), there is no "infinite items"

You can get 129 of 1 item though..here are the steps...basically same as Mew glitch...
1. Go to the path going from lavender to celadon.
2.Save game.
3.Go down and real quick press Start, then fly to lavender.
4.The gambler will see you but you will fly away too quickly.
5.The A,B, and Start button not work.
6. Go south and fight the second trainer you see....MUST BE THE SECOND NOT FIRST!
7.Beat him and then your A, B, Start buttons will work again.
8.Fly to lavender town(Make sure you have the item you want multiplied by 129 in your 6th place in your inventory)Go west as if going back to the gambler, then in the narrow pathway your start screen will come up.
8.Press B and boom there is Missingno.
9.Catch him, run, beat him what ever...that sixth item will be multiplied by 129!

And you can clone in this game! All you need is another gameboy and a link cable.
1. Link the gameboys up and go to the trade center.
2. One gameboy should have a good/rare pokemon to be traded, and another, a bad or crappy pokemon.
3. Trade those pokemon, and when the Gameboy that is about to recieve the good pokemon displays "WAITING..." Get ready to shut the other gameboy off.
4. When the message disappears, shut the other gameboy off. Do not unlink the gameboys!.
5. Continue the trade, as usual, and when the gameboy that is recieving the good pokemon recieves it and the message "TRADE COMPLETED" appears, shut that gameboy off

When you turn both gameboys back on, both games should have the good pokemon! Now, you can trade a crappy pokemon to the other gameboy for the good pokemon on the other gameboy.

EX. Say you wanted a 2 pokemon like Charizard with the most powerful fire attacks, but you taught Fire Blast to another pokemon and don't want to buy it (if you can even). So you trade Charizard and Magikarp. When the gameboy that will recieve the good pokemon displays WAITING... and then it disappears, shut the gameboy off that is recieving the Magikarp. Let the other Gameboy continue the trade, and when it displays TRADE COMPLETED turn that gameboy off. Now turn both back on and go back into the trade center. This time, you will trade another Magikarp to get the Charizard on the other gameboy! Make the trade as usual, and now you'll have two Charizards.

U can register a bike. pause then head to key items press a when the bike is hilighted, then select register. then exit the screen and press select.

yea u cant in yellow but u can move it to the top of the items list

yes u cant select items,but u can clone them.not really infinate though,but that is really in red and blue.

You cannot press "Select" to use any item in these games. That started in Gold, Silver, and Crystal. The glitch to duplicate items never made them infinite, it simply duplicated them 128 times. You CAN do it in Pokemon yellow, just not the same way.
