As someone else said. MissingNo IS in yellow but its worse for some reason. And TRsrocket.com is brilliant for finding out info on MissingNo and 'M. And btw. Just seeing a MissingNo screws your Hall of Fame up.

i know where talking bout yellow i just want to say on fire red if u walk through trees and go over the first patch of grass and battle a pokemon you have a wierd swirly mystery thing so what if you whent on mutiplayer aand the trainer caught your swirly

I used a gameshark code to make Prof. Oak catch a MissingNo. the other day, and something weird happened. After the battle, a bunch of playable characters and NPCs appeared and started running around everywhere 
It was... weird to say the least.
