need some help in the castle (ps2 not pc)

(this is really for ps2 i made a mistake twice or my computer is messed up)

ok im in the castle and i need help with the part right after you kill the prisoner guy with claws

wen i go into the room where im being attacked by like 9 ganados i kill them and go down stairs, kill guys down there and then after i press the button in that room to pull up the crank thing i let ashley do that while i protect but then theres the crank where i lift ashley so she can get to it but the problem is i cant protect myself and her at the same time any1 got a stragety, different way, ect.

You should preferably have a Rifle and Handgun or Shotgun.
Head shot any Zealots heading towards Ashley, for now don't worry about yourself.
If any Zealots get close Shotgun their head or kneecap them with the Handgun and do a kick or suplex, but remember to keep Ashley covered with your Rifle.
If you have any Flash Grenades throw one if three or more Zealots get close to you.

good advice but i have no rifle i always thot they were a waste and flash grenades are rare to me for some reason but i think ill pull thru

anyway in the prison is it better to use the rocket launcher on the prisoner or just fight as he is?

If you can go back and buy the Semi Auto Rifle.

As for the Garrador try one of these.
1.If you have one hit him with a rocket, but make sure it hit's him, and preferably in the back.

2.Shoot the bells with the handgun, he should run to it and smash it, sticking his claw into the walls at the same time, while he's stuck blast the **** out of his back with any guns you have, make sure you hit the plagas and unload any grenades on him, Incendinary work the best as they stun him to.
But never throw a flash grenade near you or he'll be able to find you, throw it as far away from you as possible and he'll run off towards it, giving you a good chance to shoot his back.

Good, I'm on chapter 2-3 on round 2 on Wii Edition, just make sure you get enough money for the Inf Launcher, it helps alot.

i always thought the chicago typewriter was better? eh it will take awile for me to beet seprate ways anyway but the red9 exclusive is better than i imagined and i already hav over 700,000 pts

Cool, I haven't used the Chicago Typewriter because I don't have it yet, I'm working on it though.

The Chicago typewriter, is good, power, and fast. And if you've unlocked the gangsta outfit, then you get to do the pose. I'm on round 4 for normal, and 2 on pro.

heh i just got the inf. launcher and its pretty sweet but after round 2 ill beet seperate ways to get chicago typewriter (correct me if im wrong)

Yeah it is. Your game must be different, because when i beat story mode the first time, I unlocked the infinite launcher, and typewriter. I know if you beat separate ways, you unlock other secret outfits. You stand corrected, lol.

Oh, wastedbro, would you please post in some of the other topics, I'm trying to keep this forum from dieing. Resident evil 5 won't be out for a while though. If we post, others might come back.

true but were just mainly talking and idk if i shuld put up a RE4 discussion thread cuz i think ill just let it die after this post but yew i will check out other topics and post on them and separate ways is hard since it takes 6 shots to kill 1 ganado...so im just bout done here

Well If you don't come back, then thanks for trying. Yeah separate ways is hard, and her shotgun sucks! Takes like 3 shots to the head with it!

i just got the chicago typewriter and seperate ways is short and bosses are easy but the weapons are crap lol

Good job. yeah it's easy, but all of the weapons apart from the crossbow do suck.

semi auto rifle , and shotgun work best. snipe zealots to protect ashley, if they grab her shoot their legs & they will drop her. use shotgun on zealots that attack you. stand on elevated area by the lg. pots. this gives you the best view, & no attacks from behind.
