what is your fastest time to complete the game on normal? also how many times did you die? mine is 4:29:38, w/ 6 deaths.

I beat it in about four hours once by running away from as many enemies as possible. Although that was on Easy.
Normally I like to get some good action, but on my Normal speed run I beat the game in about five and a half hours.

Thats pretty good. I don' t remember my 1st time. RE 4 is challenging, so hang in there. Play in the dark for some good scares.

Just keep practicing, that's what I did every day, and eventually I got better, and knew what was goin to happen so I didn't get surprised.
