If anyone has any good tips for the mercinaries, id love to hear them. the only stage i can get 5 stars on is the castle

When you find the special timers that give you +1000 per kill, wait until several enemies get close enough, then grab it. Grenades come in handy. You need 60,000+ points to get 5 stars. You need 5 stars on all four stages with all five characters to unlock the Handcannon.
