does anyone know what the deal is with this game

like what is happening in africa that gets redfield involved

RE5 takes place 10 years after the events of the first game. Chris works for an organization called the bioterroism security assessment alliance and is sent to investigate an incident which occured in Africa. Sheva also works for the BSAA that's why her character is there helping Chris. Wesker plays a big part in RE5 as the main antagonist. That's about all I know so far.

Yeah Wesker has apparently been using the t-virus on himself so that he would become stronger and faster.

It'll be interesting to see how Chris will beat him or maybe Wesker will get away again.

Wesker injected himself with a type of T-Virus modification (not the original T-Virus) just before he revealed himself as the one pulling the strings in the original Resident Evil.

I don't think they'll kill Wesker off, as he's too central a character in the series now, and he's apeared in more games in the series than any other characters.

I know the originol and Re4; but what are the others

There's a Resident Evil retrospective on Gametrailers at the moment since RE5 is due for release soon. It has all the info about each game in the series including Wesker. It helps to give a little insight into his involvment in RE5 you should check it out.

Ok i'll do that then

The games I know of that feature Wesker are:

Resident Evil Zero
Resident Evil (all versions)
Resident Evil Code: Veronica (all versions)
Resident Evil 4 (all versions)
Resident Evil: Umbrella Chronicles
Resident Evil 5

The only games he does not physically appaear in (but still appears in one photo in the RPD and is mentioned in several files) are 2 and 3, but when those games were made everyone still thought he was dead.

So that's a total of six games, not including remakes and re-releases, which would overall increase the count to around fifteen. Chris places second physically appearing in four (five if you include the Battle Game in Resident Evil 2).

Apparently Wesker had a hand in almost everything that happened throughout the RE series.

so wesker shouldent be killed

it would dull the story

If they're planning on continuing the series after the release of RE5 which they probably are then no Wesker shouldn't be killed.

they cant end the series befor the T-virus is eleminated tho
