Oh god... I think he was highly unnesscessary, although, it is a lot better than the overused super sonic, plus you can't become super sonic by using the world rings. He's not evil, though. Have you even gotten to him in the game? I personally think he looks like one of the cars in my school parking lot...

Yes, super sonic was used way too much. It's good that they made something different.
