When BFI came out it came out silently as a tester to see if anyone liked it and we did. LucasArts sure did a good work of that in a Banzai attempt with George Lucas of course giving all the facts.
In BFII it was more public about it because they were very hopeful of even better sales considering BFI did hit Gold in a matter of weeks! BFII also included some other features rather liked such as use of Jedi, a bigger challenge in some ways, more planets, space battle, energy usage and of course the weapon upgrades. There were a few downfalls like the reduced damage radius, reduced power in some of the rifles and guns, and taking away some planets at the same time.
In Renegade Squadron, it almost appears as if LucasArts has been listening and reading messages from the public on what they want. The most public feature is the change of uniform, albeit, so far reviews for that is very mixed.
So what do you guys reckon?
