Obi wan - possibility of the chosen one?

What have I told you about double posting? There is an edit feature for a reason. Another double post and you're reported.
Becoming one with the Force does not mean you are rendered useless in attempting to bring balance to it. It just merely means he is still alive, but only just.
In essence it's merely changing your form.
In any other case, did the Prophecy state specifically it had to be Anikan? No. And they only thought he was the Chosen One. They weren't certain.

Tell me exactly what the profecy says th only part I know is he shall be born of a virgen mother.Also what about Ep.1 where Qui-gon or obi-wan tests ani's midicloran count and it was higher than master yoda's?

In any case, there may have actually been someone else with a midiclorian count higher than that of Anakin's.
Ok checked up on this and George Lucas stated it officially that Anakin was the Chosen One, but only after all the speculation meaning he only did it as a means to end all the rumours.
So he probably wasn't too sure of it himself.

When you double/triple/etc post, you post more than once (in a single thread) in a row within 24 hours, resulting in a sloppy forum.

Double posting isn't necessarily just posting the same post twice in a row; it's you posting twice in a row (within 24 hours).

If you wait 24 hours after you post, then it results in bumping a thread, which is totally allowed.

Well the reason being originally it wasn't confirmed and George Lucas out of desperation said Anikan was the Chosen One indeed.

um...well um......yeah.......idk um....i still think ani's the chosen one if he's not it would mess up the whole story line.....oh yeah doesn't the prosphecy say something like "he will destroy the sith"?

No. The prophecy stated that a person would bring balance to the Force. It didn't say specifically that the person had to destroy the Sith.

I just want to point this out, I think this should end the debate.

Aniken WAS the chosen one, he brought balance to the force, but the proof that he was the chosen one is in the prophicy, the prophicy says that the chosen one wont have a dad, aniken had no dad, is that not proof?

Well actually I stated earlier that George Lucas confirmed this issue only after people were debating about why Anakin didn't actually do much to balance the Force.
