Serious Problem: My game doesn't work... AGAIN

I bought my SSBB in July, and, because of the dual layer disc and the age of my wii, I had to have the lens cleaned, which set me back �25 on top of the �40 for the actual game. 8 months down the line, it has happened again, and the Wii won't read the game. I am considering selling it if I can't find a trick to getting it to work, and if someone tells me one, I would be very grateful, as I am not spending another �25 (which would make the game �90 in all)...

Did you clean the actual game, or does it have any scratches on it? Also, make sure that you're inserting the disk the right way. If that doesn't work then ask Nintendo for help. Click here to contact nintendo.

You can also use a disk cleaner.

The actual disc is perfect, it has no scratches on it atall. The problem lies with the actual Wii, as it was a launch day console and apparently Nintendo say old consoles have a problem playing double layer discs; such as SSBB. Thanks for the advice. and I trhink a lens cleaner would work

Well if u sell it dont sell it to Gamestop they're a ripoff

Ill probably trade it in for SUper Smash Bros Melee; I have such fond memories of that game...

Go and demand yourself a refund.

He should've done that when he first got the game now they'll say he broke it.

No, youve got it all wrong. the game would work perfectly on any new Wii, but the lens inside the Wii cannot handle double layer disc. The Wii and the game are fine, I have not touched, broke or modified any part of the Wii or game.
