Event Match

Post any ideas for new event matches here.

A fight against Chain Chomp would be awesome. Yes, I realise he's invincible. That's why it'd be awesome. You'd have to destroy his stump, then force him off the edge of the stage.

A great feature of Melee that more than deserves to return for Brawl.

With the large amount of sword weilding characters, there should be a mission that involves fighting them all. 3 to start off with, when 1 is KO'd, the next comes. Presuming that all from Melee return, the order would be Link, Marth, Meta Knight, Young Link, Roy, Pit, *insert any other sword weilding newcomers here*

Make a swordsman only event in which you can only use the A button to attack. You would have a lot of sword off sword action in that one.

Or if Sonic is added in the game you would be forced to race Sonic with your choice of any character in a race track like level.

Wouldn't that be impossible to win? I know Melee's got really hard, but that's just taking the biscuit.

If Sonic is in it, they'd have to have a Mario vs Sonic event match, probably with you taking Mario's side.

Course they would let you cheat by alowing you to use speed increasing items at the start, plus they would let you attack Sonic.

If they had Sonic Vs Mario that would be sweet.

What if they had a Sonic Vs. Shadow match? Like the Link Vs. Evil Link.

Couse Shadow would just be a Sonic clone with same attacks and stats but he would only look differnt.

It would be cool if they made Shadow as a character but he would probably be just a first time only boss fight for Sonic only

Only if you get a Bunny Hood. And a hammer.

Didn't the hammers SLOW you down? Can't exactly pwn Sonic if your going at about 3mph.

Another idea, matches that allow you to become the bad guys and finally get to defeat the good guys. Fights like Bowser vs Mario, Ganondorf vs Link, Meta Knight vs Kirby, Mewtwo vs Pikachu, etc.

That's what the Bunny Hood is for. Speed you up.

An Event Match where you must play as Master Hand and defeat as many characters as possible would be hardcore. It'd be like a survival thing, with the last opponent being Giga Bowser (or his replacement, if they've thought of someone harder). Because anyone who says they've never wanted to play as Master Hand is lying.

The hammer would still slow you down.

How about a normal survival mode alongside the master hand survival, though, unlike Pan's idea, it keeps going till you're KO'd.

Okay, forget the hammer, but keep the Bunny Hood. I'll just rugby-tackle the little blue git.

There should be three difficulties for Event Matches, with each one changing slightly depending in the difficulty. Hard Survival would start you on 100%, for example, and Hard Master Hand Survival would give you less HP.

Master Hand Vs. Silly Hand now that would be sweet.
I wonder how fast sonic would go if he had a bunny hood on...

or just get a home run bat behine him, do the super hit, to knock the stump out, and throw him off the edge using the throw jey (it was z on gamecube)

Didn't we explain this before? If you actually did know something about this game, you would know that Nintendo are allowing some third party characters in (in case you don't know what this means, characters from other companies that don't make consoles). Myamoto himself has stated that Sonic is the character he would most like to see in Brawl. Try and remember that next time before trying to own someone, your just owning yourself...embarrassingly.

1st: He means Crazy Hand, the opposite of master hand but a lot stronger. Event 51.

2nd: I dont know who the hell snake is.

3rd: SMB64. MArio throws both Bowser (tail) and Chain Chomp (chain)

And Snake is the main character from the Metel Gear Solid games

Crazy Hand's in event 50, not 51.

How can you be a mod for this game without knowing who Snake is? Watch the friggin' trailer.

Bowser is not made entirely of metal, and Mario never threw Chain Chomp.

P.S. It's SM64. There's no B anywhere in it.

I've already got it on the Brawl info page Dragoon, so that's slightly unecessary. Anyway, could we get back on topic people.

With Snake in it we could have a mission in which you have to sneak through a stage without being detected and within a time limit. If spotted a bunch of guards will attack and you have to KO them all before you can continue.
