Phil, try to stay on topic. I warned you in FFRP, don't make me warn you again.

Here's an idea. How about everyone try to think up of a moveset (full moveset, not just special moves), stats and final smash for Sonic, just to keep us all amused. I'l maybe write one up later.

You know what I think? That Sonic is expected in SSBB because they are hoping that this time it's not an April fools prank. That some people don't want Sonic in it because they think he's an overrated character, that he may not be up to the job, that he just rolls up into a ball to attack, or because people just don't like him. People are making a lot of of "proof", some of them might mean something, others are just plain fake.Pesonally I'm looking forward to seeing Sonic the hedgehog in SSBB, not just because I'm a fan of him, because I want to see a game where the mustached, red cap superhero and the blue blur actually slap each other's faces. Zair has spoken.

I like Sonic, but I only want to see him as a character because he has a lot of potential for the game, not just cause he would be 'teh awes0mzors!!!!1!' or something like that.

My idea for Sonic's moveset:

Stats
Speed: 5/5
Jump: 4/5
Strength: 2/5
Weight: 2/5

Special moves
Standard: Sonic Wind: Sonic breakdances on the spot, creating a whirlwind around him. both the whirlwind and Sonic spinning can damage, while the whirlwind sucks them in and send them upwards.
Down: Spin Dash: hold the button to charge Sonic's spin, release to send Sonic flying forwards while curled up.
Up: Homing Attack: Sonic blasts forward for a third jump. Tilt the control stick to alter the direction it moves. If an opponent, item or ledge is nearby, he will atomatically home on to it. If it hits an item or opponent, he will be able to perform the move again.
Side: Light Dash: A row of rings appears in front of Sonic, who then dashes through them almost instantly. If opponents touches any of the rings, they disappear and disrupt the move.

Standard/strong moves
standard: Punches on first press, again on second, third he performs a backflip kick.
side: Half spins round while doing a kick.
down: Does the splits, one leg kicking outwards each way.
up: Headbutts opponents.

Smash moves
side: Roundhouse kicks the opponent.
down: Spins both legs along the ground in a dancing fashion.
up: Does a bicycle kick to abve opponents.

Aerial
standard: Swings a punch forwards.
front: Performs a few spin kicks forwards.
back: Performs a triple kick behind him.
up: Backflips in the air, kicking upwards.
down: Curls in to a ball and spins as he drops downwards

Grabs/throws
attack: Headbutts the opponent
front: Kicks the opponent forwards.
back: Rolls backwards while still holding them before throwing behind.
up: Spins around with the opponent once before throwing them upwards.
down: Throws them to the ground and charges a Spin Dash on them, before jumping off.

Taunt
Crosses one leg over the other and waves his index finger towards the camera.

Final Smash
Super Sonic Transformation: Tempoarily transofrms in to Super Sonic, granting increased speed, strength, invincibility and flight. After a while, it runs out, possibly KO'ing himself if he's offstage at the time.

Anyway, the Sonic moveset:

A button:

Ground:

Standard: Punch, kick, high kick

A left/right: Spin kick

A down: Slide kick

A up: Frontflip kick

A while running: Turns into a ball and grabs whoever he hits

Smash A left/right: Breakdance kick

Smash A down: Sweep kick

Smash A up: Double kick backflip

Aerial:

A up: Backflip kick

A down: Axe kick

A front: 2 spin kicks

A back: Stretches out both legs

B button:

Ground:

B Standard: Turns into a ball and creates a Sonic Wind yelling "Sonic Wind!!!"

B up: kind of like Yoshi's eggethrow but with a ring and Sonic spins towards the ring.

B Down: Spin Dash, rapetedly press B button to increase Sonic's speed before releasing (hold down to keep spining)

B left/right: Light Dash, Sonic spins at light speed and dashes to the closest character

Aerial:

B up: Same as ground

B down: Sonic Bounce, while airborne Sonic dashes downwards and bounces back up twice his jumping height

B left/right: Light dashes to the side but slightly downward

Taunt: He pulls his lower eyelid down and takes out tounge, kind of like in Sonic X.

Final Smash:

Transforms into Super Sonic for 1 minute, granting him 2x the stats plus making him invinceble.

It'd Be Funny If He Had "Chaos Control" For Final Smash.. But Thatd Be shadow.

Not tru (though super sonic seems more likley) He was able to use chaos control in SA2B

I don't much care if Sonic is going to be in the game he's not my favorite I would rather see Shadow in it instead.

I like Volke's idea of putting cloud and sephiroth.
