What A epic Fail

Ok so I check the brawl website every day today they had a new person Pikman and Omar I am dissapointed a nintendo that out of all the other charaters they decied to put in Pikman.
Discuss what you think about the Update.

I didn't expect it, that's for sure, but I love it! Serisouly, I can't wait to play them!

Yeah i was surprised that Pikmin & Olimar were in =D

Don't worry there stll going to be more characters.

I think there not going to show no more characters till
after the release date.

They're probably doing them all nao.

Well all the character slots are full so don't think so.
Also because the game come out in japan on Jan 24.
Plus he is the only new character we have got since King Dedede
like what was it 2 months ago.

Plus it's just a character the more the merrier.

I honestly like the Pikman update its a nice new refreshing charcter =P.

There is no decided character cap which means Sakurai can add as many characters as he wants and hasn't set a decided limit. I am please with that update though :D. I love Pikmin and can't wait to here there move set

Yeah same here, I cant wait for them to reveal his moves and final smash =P.

As a pikmin fan, I love the fact that the pikmin and olimar are in. I'd like to see how they can work olimar into the Subspace Emissary. It'd be quite interesting.

I heard that the least amount of characters was 36. Who said that the maximum was attained? There are only 25 now...unless I miscounted.

I heard the absolute maximum would be 40 characters.

I've been long awaiting Olimar's appearance in Smash Bros. and I think it's great that he made it in. The Pikmin games are brilliant - Pikmin 2 one of the best games on the Gamecube. Looking at his movelist just shows how original he is, a full army of reds on Norfair would make him hard to defeat.

As for all those who think Olimar is 'epic fail', he was one of the most requested first party newcomers for the game. There was Pikmin representation confirmed before this update anyway (the Trophy update, the last screenshot has a Bulborb trophy)

Nope Sakurai just adds characters whenever there is no maximum amount of characters aloud.

I've played Pikmin but not Pikmin 2 and it is by far the 3rd best game there is.

There will be stages where he will have his ups - Norfair, Brinstar, Shadow Moses Island, Frigate Orpheon (Maybe Pokemon Stadium. There will be stages where he will have his downs - New Pork City, Hyrule, The Summit (Maybe? slippery making it easy for the pikmin to get pulled away from Olimar), Castle Siege, Rumble Falls (We don't know if the Pikmin will be able to keep up with Olimar yet, we haven't exactly been told if they get pulled away easily), Mario Curcuit and maybe Bridge of Eldin.

I'm still wondering about the effect Olimar will have on Kirby. When Kirby inhales him will he get little Kirby Pikmin? :P. Or will he gain a different effect. Maybe he is able to inhale the Pikmin not Olimar and get there power. eg. absorbs red pikmin he is immune to fire.

There will be people Olimar has an advantage against also, Pikachu, Bowser's B move, Ike, Pokemon Trainer. But i can imagine characters like Fox, ZSS and other fast characters will have an advantage over him.

You do realize that Bridge of Eldin is flat...almost all the time. Occasionally, the twighlight realm takes a bit of the bridge away, and King Bulbin will play a part in it. But for the most part, He won't have much a problem there.

Thats why i put 'maybe Bridge of Eldin'

And that by my saying, that he wouldn't have a hard time there at all.

Pikman should definetly be in, he fits perfect.

I sort of like, stopped caring after i found sonic was in it. Im still having wet dreams imagining what damage i could do with that(im not really, its just an exaggeration)

I'm not to thrilled about the Pikman. I think that they could have chosen someone better instead of him, but oh well.

Olimar was in the top 5 or something requested characters

I can't imagine why. There must have been a mistake somewhere. Maybe it was the most NOT wanted characters.

J/K Maybe I'll take it back once I try him out.
