i didn't know "light" entailed "fast." did you know that captain falcon is the 6th heaviest character in the game?

if it means a character that's lighter *than average* (which would be about any character as light or lighter than ice climbers), then i'd have to say marth or fox. zelda, sheik and peach are very slightly below average technically, unless you count zelda/sheik as one, in which case they're the median weight.

for the record, here's the weight list (always good to memorize):

this is all from memory, if somebody with the actual pal list can verify that i'd be happy

i don't think mewtwo is supposed to be light. especially in pokemon

well he's freaking 268 pounds or something in pokemon, but he's definitely as light as young link and roy in melee. there's some weak excuse in his trophies, i think, but i just think that hal was trying to moderate mewtwo's fighting capabilities and went overboard.

no, luigi is light. i don't get it. no one else said jigglypuff. pound is great for a safe return, along with the jumps, and rest(which i said was snore) is just like hrb. i think that kirby is the second best light though. he creamed jigglypuff for the first encounter thing

Just stopping by to confirm that Samus is indeed the 3rd heaviest character. I knew somebody would feel icky about a heavy floaty. Gotta love those physics :D

if floaties are anyone ness's falling speed or lower,

samus, mario, dr. mario, luigi -> four heavy floaties
peach, zelda -> two medium floaties
ice climbers, mewtwo, g&w, kirby and jiggly -> five light floaties

not much correlation at all
