Techs look just like wall jumps sometimes... yeah yeah you said it wasn't but the fact is bowser is to big to do a wall jump...

I don't think Bowser can wall jump at all... I am going to RJ Fighter's house today and I will see if Bowser can wall jump or not.

It's not a matter of simply wall jumping. Only certain characters can do that.
ALL characters can wall-tech-jump.
ALL characters can wall-tech-jump.
