What is your strategy of how you fight?

I use the umbrella.

THat's a good question. I can see it now. Bowser running from Jigglypuff with an Umbrella, floating away.

I use it to fight.

I don't tend to go close range because it's so easy to leave yourself vulnerable. Sometimes leaving yourself open once is just enough for your opponent to get the better of you. My main strategies are different depending on the weight of my character.

Light Characters: Since light characters are usually easy to send flying, I prefer to take it slowly, only attacking when the opponent leaves themselves open.

Medium Characters: I prefer to fight in a position that is close enough to hit, but far away enough to steer clear of powerful attacks, which usually don't have a great range. If the character is like Samus, then I use a projectile to stun them, then rush in and strike as fast as possible, not giving them a chance to attack.

Heavy Characters: With these I just think, aww, to hell with it and go for a close range attack frenzy. Since heavy characters aren't very easy to send flying, I just charge in and take them out fast.

Well, those are my strategies. Except for the heavyweight strategy, my strategies rely on avoiding as much damage as possible while dealing as much as possible.

dyoung: Oh, okay, that makes sense.

ambilla: Pikachu is kinda considered a light character, but i still use close range ttacks. Your enemies expect you to fight long distance, so it's like a sneak attack.

Tl: Lol

Pikachu is strong if you use him right.

Fox and Falco are great if you can use them well.

I best with falco.the key is to not let the enemy get up or a move

Right, and next to CF, he's one of the most agile.

Yeah, he is quite agile.

My fighting is too complicated to get one thing done, like I've heard Procrastinator say.

I just take the best swordsman I find and show the opponents the sharp side of my sword. If there are items: take the best, leave the rest.

Well, I have to admit, you do get other hits on the enemy while you're trying to do these things.

lol Some wierd ones, and they are probably unecissary, huh?lol

But there's nothing wrong with that, that just means you have your own unique style. Tbh, I prefer your style over many others, leaves the enemy confused.

Thank you. I didn't think about that.lol You are right. Belive it or not, it's harder for me to fight just plain aggressive, or defensive. I have to do all that complicated stuff to make it easier.

Maybe I should make a class. I'm going to get to take it to a place with other teens, and I'm going to show this other Link player how it's done.

I wish we could all play in a tournament.T_T

Well sometimes, I use DK. I do the B-> to knock them on the ground, then do B-Down, until like 80%. Then do his B move at full power. =Kill.

When is use jiggly puff i like to play my brother because i can trick him into killing himself.

First i start by puffing away and towards the edge while in mid air, and keep stricking my borhter with a normal left ro right air attack, then once i run out of puffs i get back on and then do ti again and just keep making him swing and miss me while i keep doing that , he eventually just dies fomr falling offf the edge or i do a b down or b up, ( the one that isn't singing) that is just with jiggly and is ahrd to explain too lol but w/e

You know, you sound a lot like my cousin. He'll use every move and technique in Link's arsenal, but he's never a straight-forward fighter. His strat is probaly more complex than yours. And if he uses A up/down in the air and your damaged, your pretty much through.

P.S. Who's "this other Link player"?

Someone I met. He's a Link player, and I want to challenge him to see who the better Link is.
