Good find. I like the small tidbits about the game that most people probably don't notice at first.
Going through the site, I was looking through their advanced moves pages. The first page isn't too impressive, but the 2nd page has a better terminology and explanations for advance moves we use today, like the shffl and wavedash. It's far from complete, but I do enjoy knowing that its been recognized by this website.

the explanations of the advanced techniques are a little too gamefaqsy and rehashed. if i had written those explanations, they'd me a lot sexier
