Well, I barely bought the game 2 days ago. I played and saved right by the end of the sewers. Is there anything I have to know. Like weapons, quests, how to do things. For example, enchanting weapons and armor. And lastly, what you recommend to do or choose.

Well first off Welcome to Oblivion! ok so for the enchanting weapons and armor you have to be far enough in the mages guild or have sigil stones from oblivion gates. the best type of weapon there is are the daidric weapons(spelling?)..thats all i can think of right now. this is the best game ever

yes they are in seperate files..one other thing. you only start seeing daidric (spelling) weapons at lvl 20

A weapon you must have is Umbra which is in a ruin South of The Imperial City called Vindasel.Go to the ruins when you are very strong and go to the very end and kill the women for her weapons and armor.

what he says is true. this sword is the best in the game. just be VERY careful... killer woman who can take you out fast. i almost died the first time i tried it.

your welcome and about the umbra sword. no matter what level you are she can kill you fast. so be CAREFUL when fighting her.

Ok, if you can connect to Xbox live and get Shivering Isles, the best armor and weapon in the game are in there. Also, don't go by what other people say. I know I just told you what to do but ignore it. Do whatever you want, that is what this game is for. Even though daedric armor is the best without Isles, I never use it and I do just fine. Get whatever weapon you want too. It is what YOU want to do, not what other people tell you to do. You really just need to figure out the game by yourself. I am not trying to be mean is I sound like I am. I just think it is much more fun that way. If you learn how to do yourself you will enjoy it more. That's all I got. Welcome to the wonderful world of Oblivion.

save your money so you can buy many different and expensive objects. it may not be useful in the begining it will as you gain levels.
