The Sewer puts people off slightly, it was really too long and tedious. It gets far better after the sewer.

Yes it does. It is a very good game and with all the expansions it is amazing. It is still good without the expansions though.

To me, it seems redundant to ask that in a forum filled with Oblivion fans. Anyway, it's one of the best RPG's I've ever played.

The sewers werer boring, Oblivion collected dust on my shelf because of that.
But yeah, now I've played it a lil' it seems decent, although it hasn't yet 'grabbed' me.

Me personally, I think Oblivion is the best game so far. If you don't like huge RPG's then you might and might not like Oblivion.

I usally dont play RPG's But oblivion is really good after you pass the sewers there is so much stuff you can do

lol. Yeah you're right. I laughed so hard when I read your post.
And once again, yes, it's a good game to me but I have a friend who hates it. So here's some advice, if you like RPG's get it but if you don't ever play them and have a general disgust for them, don't get it.
