yea it is not connected to the consle but the 2 parts of the controller are connected together that is y it is called the nunchuk

The controls are easy to master (unless your 10) and they suit the games perfectly, however the classic one has a one big flaw, it's set out like the PS2 with the D Pad as your main part with two analogue sticks below which sets your hand in an odd place. Stick to the Wiimote and Nunchuk combo.

The one controller is, It's shaped more like a TV remote though than anything, it's got an A and B button on it as well as a D Pad, a 1 and 2 Button, a Plus, Minus, Home, And Power Button. The other controller however, held in the other hand is shaped a little differently. It has a joystick on the top of it and has a Cbutton on the top of it! It sounds a little complicated but it really works well. And In response to MasterHunter, I agree with you wholeheartedly on the issue of the classic controller, I just bought it so that I could play all the games though, because some won't work with just the WiiMote~

Excuse my double post, I wanted to add this quote though and you cant edit in quotes. Anyways, the easiest way to get it before february is to eBAY IT. After christmas is over im sure its going to drop in price a lot online. Just make an account and try to get as good of a deal as you can. Thats how I got mine. (I paid 320 *thats with shipping and handlin and everythign* and It came with a free gamecube game) The best trick is to try to place bids on items that will be ending early in the morning when nobody is up (prime time is 4 am eastern 2am pacific), because most bidding occurs in the last 5 minutes, you have a decent shot of walking away with a pretty chap wii!!
