I can't go into buy or build mode?! | The Sims 2 Forums

For some reason it won't let me into buy or build mode. I've been using the cheat "boolprop testingcheatsenabled true" so maybe that might be the cause? I don't know. Is there a cheat i can do so I CAN access the buy and build mode? Please, can someone give me an idea of what is going on or what i can do? Thanks heaps.

If the buy and build mode buttons are dimmed out, them I think it might be a glitch in the game. Do you have the same problem in other households?

nope. Only in the original house and then i moved out and it happened in the second house as well. It's not a glitch in the game. What could it be? I need help.

I need help.If its not a glitch then the game probably thinks there is some sort of disaster going on (like during a fire it disables buy and build mode). If this problem occurs in different families then I recommend reinstalling the game. |

It could be... but how long has it been happening. It could be a glitch when there was a fire and the glitch kept the effects of the fire on? I would reccomend re-installing the game
