How do you rename a sims

I don't think it is fair, I want to change my adult man sims name to match who I like in real life but I can't because of these stupid rules! You can rename a dog so why not a person!?!?!

I accidentally named my toddler ally (boy) and I can't change it!!

I don't think you can change the name which is sad. I have a humiliating sim name because of my brother hopefully a new update will allow us to change a sims name

I wish you could. But you can't. One of my sims got his name changed when he moved in with his girlfriend. But then they broke up and I didn't realize that his last name was changed, even though they were broken up. And then his NEW girlfriend got HIS new last name. I hope EA makes a whole bunch of updates for these kinds of things...

Ummmm, just delete the sims that you want to change name. Then make new sim of the name you want

I need to change my name I wanted to make my mom and dad so I named my dad with his last name and mom with her surname then they got married and my dad moved in with my mom and my moms surname is now my dad's last name

You can't rename a toddler or teenager or preteen , or anyone's first name but EA are very good and if enough people complain about not being able to change their sims Nepalese they will prolly change it as the always respond to feedback and act on it.

Click "Ctrl Alt Delete" all at the same time and type "testingcheatsenabled true" (Then click "enter")After that, "Ctrl" click on your sim and click on "Edit sim". Then, you can do whatever you want with your sim. Hope that helps!! Also, to find a list of cheats, click "Ctrl Alt Delete" and type "help".
