Sims won't go to work

I have the solution! Just go to settings...change the year to something that has passed, e.g. 2011. Open SIMS FREEPLAY, Go back to settings and change the year back to the current 2013. Then reopen SIMS FREEPLAY. It should work now!

I wasn't cheating with time cheap but with neighbours items. I was cheating with csr racing for gas so I've gone to the time I set 2018 and they going to work again

I have a similar problem I have only 6 sims but after sending all of them to work once their briefcase never flashed again. And it's been about 2 weeks since their first day.

My sims also stopped going to work and school. I noticed the date on my Ipad was the upcoming Sunday and it was actually Wednesday night. What I did was changed the date back 4 days when I knew my Sims Free Play was working correctly. When I uploaded the game to ICloud. Then deleted the game. Then changed the date ahead a couple days (I may not of had to do that. I may have been able to put it to the correct date. But this way that I did it fixed the problem.) then reinstalled the game from the Apps store. Downloaded saved data. Now it works fine. But like today is Saturday but my Ipad is this coming Monday, 2 days ahead. I am going to stop playing it until Monday at 10:27am. Go I and change to the correct date on my Ipad. Then start playing the game again at that time since that is what the Sims thinks it is. If it doesn't work then I will go back 2 days and just play like that. I am at level 37 and maxed out on how many sims I can have so I hate to start over. Hope this helps.

I'm on level 32 what i tried was that i changed times on my iPad to the times my sims go to work as I had school then suddenly the notifications stopped and non of them go to work :(

Same problem. Some go to work, some don't. Never used any cheats. Happened after the latest update.

I have the same problem (never heard of the time cheat) but what I would suggest is gardening! It's how I was able to afford my mansion! Just garden onions and in seven hours each sim who u sent to garden will give you $800 dollars, which Is more than work anyway! And if u don't have enough to pay for the onions (I think it's $138) then just garden the free one enough times until you do

Is anyone else having problems sending their #Sims to work in Sims Freeplay? It seems like my teacher doesn't work again or is it vacation? I never used a cheat or anything.

Im disappionted, ive been playing this for about a year and none of my sims are going to work... Whatta waste of time...

Are there any answers????? I don't do cheats, on level 34, 27 Sims and only the newer ones go to work. How can this be fixed?????

Has anyone figured this out yet? I'm having the same issue, 6 sims level 10, 3 of them won't go to work after I changed their jobs several times to see if it was the job. I didn't use any cheats, I've tried looking to see if it needed to be updated, done the cloud thing, and the changing of time. Also made sure they were in good moods and standing outside, none of this has fixed it. Any ideas?
