So I purchased a birthday cake from the grocery store but I can't find where it went, it took my 10 LP but doesn't show me where the cake is or how to get it. Any ideas?

You still have to bake it after you buy it, but it won't charge you any LPs for it...just time.

Ok so they are right. You just have to bake it at the stove after you buy it at the grocery store. But then what is the point in buying it at the store? I figured if I bought it there I could wait the 24 hour period without having to have one of my sims actually bake it.

You have to buy it from the store,then once you've bought it,you have to make one of your sims go to the stove.then,scroll down to birthday cake.were it usually says 5LP,it will have an inventory sign with how many cakes you bought.click on the cake.your sim will start baking,and in one days time,you'll have a birthday cake for your baby/toddler!!happy growing!hope this helped, :thumbsup

It's almost not worth having kids. It just takes too dang long to age up! I can see a couple hours to bake a cake, but a day is ridiculous!!! Sheesh.
