HELP simsfreeplay money cheat doesnt work after summer update!!

In order to speed up the process for the competition center (if you used the dec 26 cheat), you have to change the date to dec 27, 2013 then it will have a new competition ready. Send a sim to compete. Exit the game and change the date back to current date/time. I cancelled my sim from competing and now i have 13hrs before the next competition.(originally 7754 hrs). I guess you can finish the competition or cancel your sim, either way should work. P.s change the month to december and year to 2013 but do not change the day to 26!!! I used today (6th).

This cheat messed up my party boat and my competition center how do I fix it

When I attempted this cheat it wouldn't allow me to load the game. I didn't have this problem before I did the update. Is anyone else having this problem? If so, has anyone gotten past it?

It won't let me login either, just says I need Internet to use the app and keeps trying to connect to server. Never had this problem before the update.

This cheat isn't working at all. All it says is "cannot connect to server." Help!!!

Has anyone been able to do the cheat since the new update? I have sims free play on iphone5 and when I change the date to December 26 it says can not conect to sims free play.

You have to set it for the current date and enable auto for it to work again. Had the same problem and it fixes it.

Help! The cheat won't let me connect to the server. Has anyone figured out how to use the cheat after the update?

Everytime i try the cheats it says cannot connect to server so......does anyone have a cheat that does not require time or any solution that would solve the cannot connect to server.......tnx a lot I really need some money

The update promised beach front homes, and I, like a total dork, fell for it. Now I can't cheat, so once again, I'm a slave to time

Ok so this is for ipad 4th GEN and I don't know if it works on any other device
1) go to your app and plant something expensive
2) close the app and double tap the home button and delete the app from history
3) go to settings and turn on airplane mode
4) go to general/date&time/change the month to either April or may
5) open your sims app
6) close the app and turn on your wifi( do not turn off your airplane mode)
7) open yor app and go collect the money from your plants

i cannot seem to change time forwards or backwards it automoatically resets to the present time! i know i have to turn off auto time or something but the galaxy tab 2 does not have this option only to set time and date and time zone there is no tab to uncheck auto time or anything!!!!!
