What I do is......
1) go to general setting
2) turn off set automatically
3) change date to April, DO NOT CHANGE DAY OR YEAR
4) load sims
5) 50,000 should be there + sims will be done with their actions

i've tried a bunch of times and it isn't working! can you post more detailed instructions or a video? when do you turn the sims game on and off in multitast?

Or you can try this
Click the home button twice then hold down sims and press the red minus button
1) go to general settings
2) turn on airplane mode
3) change date to April DON'T CHANGE DAY OR YEAR
4) turn off airplane mode the. Quickly turn off wifi
5) load sims again and tuns of money should be there
