With the new update, you can have a weather machine. Once you have completed all the goals, you will be able to Create A Storm with the weather machine. Once you have a storm going, get a sim and make them stand outside (I am not entirely sure, but I don't think they can get struck if you have purchased them an umbrella). Wait outside for a little while, make sure your sim is just standing there, doing nothing. If they are not already inspired, soon enough a bright bolt will come down and shock your sim. After you sim has recovered from shock and dizziness, you will find that all their needs have been taken care of and they are inspired!

Stand outside with a sim that needs are not fulfilled during a storm. Make suture they aren't doing anything productive

Only 1 of my sims got struck and I got new sims ( I got rid of all the rest ,including the struck sim) and none of my new sims or privious sims are being/ were struck. What gives!!!!???
