Wii channels faq

Ok I decided to put a little help topic up to avoid topics which will be filled with spam, and if I need to I will edit this when I need to.

How do I move channels around?
You move you're wii pointer over the channel you want to move and press a+b to grab, then you drop it where you want to.This can only be done when you connect you're wii to the internet and updated it.

How do I copy saves to my sd card?
You have to go to you're wii system memory and click the file you want to copy and click copy.You need to have updated you're wii to do this, again to update your Wii you need to connect to the Internet for the first time.

How come the news, forecast or shop channel won't work?
You need to have connected to the the internet and updated you're wii to access these channels.

How come I can't download any games from the shop channel?
You need wii points to download vc games, you need to either buy a wii points card for �14.99/$15-20 or get them via a creditcard in the shop channel.

When was the full version of the Internet channel out?
Its been out since April and is free till the end of June, after that it costs 500 wii points.

I accidently deleted one of my vc games from my internal memory! what do I do?
You just go back to the shop channel and redownload the deleted game free of charge and if it has an update you can download that free as well.

My Wii's disk slot just turned blue, what happened?
Your Wii has received a message from a Wii friend or has received an update through Wiiconnect24, just turn on your Wii to find out what, the disk slot turns blue when a disk is inserted into the disk slot to.

Yes plug a Gamecube controller and Memory Card into the top of your Wii and insert the Gamecube game disk.

Oh No... my disc slot is blue!!! What does this mean???
The disc slot turns blue when you input a disc, turn the wii on or somethings been updated on the wii. Turn the wii on and find out whats been updated!!
