You have to make them available, then get them from the free agents screen.

Try unlocking them,then when you go to draft people in GM mode,you should be able to get them there,or in the free agents as well.

Yeah what i did was i did season mode and unlocked them by buying them in my locker room.Oh and you have to do challenges
