Graphics, and overall gameplay has improved, with the ability to do a lot (lot) more with weapons, and the 8 different styles really adds a whole new concept.
High flyers are now more used, as the are very evasive, and can dodge attacks with ease.
Online is no where near as good as previously, as they have the same glitches and such.
I also do not like the new strong grapples holds, as they/you can break out of the grapples by randomly pressing buttons, and it is way too easy to counter grapples in this version.
The crowd is also a downfall, for example at the end of a match, your favourite superstar hits his finished move, and pins for the 3, its like the arena is empty.
Not as goos as 07, at first, but its starting to get better. 24/7 mode was extremely dull with Jef Hardy, so I started again with my created superstar and it livened things up, being a Villain in the Movies more moar moneys :D But it seems to be overlly repeatative, even with only 2% of it complete. IGN was correct IMO.

Yeah, but it is frustrating in a Fatal 4 way, Extreme Rules match, because the match kind of pauses as you select your weapon.

Nah, just Extreme Rules (single, 3-way, or 4-way) and women can now play in 6 man tags, as well as table matches (24/7 Mode Only). So Blobby, I think my thoughts on it are almost the same as yours.

Yah, 24/7 Mode is incredibly dull. Already with 1 PPV gone, the same cut scene has played 3 times. Not good enough.

ot too sure now, I'm kind of getting into it, with GM Mode and all, where you can put your superstars into Movies to increase their fan popularity. I've got some good rivalries going, over this Jealous Girlfriend storyline :P
