Ok here are a few tips;
-Include plenty of 4 star or lower monsters.
-Only put a few 5 star or higher monsters in your deck.
-Keep your deck at about half monsters and half spell/traps.
-Keep dueling to increase your level.

Reset itself? That never happened to me. That sounds like a glitch. You may need to get your game checked.
