Death drain

I'm having a battle with Joe Perry and I don't the tactics necessary to beat him, he just death drains me. Any suggestions?

Do the best you can.use the string cutters or the wamme bar one

Well when you get power-ups during your plays, use them when Joe starts playing. The best way is to use the power-ups when Joe is building his way up on thee RAzor Gems. This will prevent him from getting any power-ups.
