To beat this level... Well you can't, in this level you purposely die. The broken helmet in the sand that looks old and warn out, thats noble 6's helmet (aka yours).
You can walk around and go hide in the house behind the start of the level, and if you stay where you start out you just get shot by phantoms. You just keep fighting the covenant until your helmet breaks and you go into this cutscene where these elites kill you. You have to die there is no way to complete that level alive.
You can't beat it. There is a way to live forever though. Just google how to survive on Lone Wolf forever.
My brother shot the phantom with a spartan laser where the covenant troops come out and it blew up. He said that his spartan then jumped into an object during a cutscene and flew away.
To complete 'LOAN WOLF' you fight as many elites and grunts for as long as possible until you die.(you have to die to complete the game).
Ok I know this is off topic but what happened to jun?
I think there is one way but you still don't make it alive kill as many aliens as you can until the elites with energy swords comes then that when the cutscene of you dying ( this might not be true but I think it happen to me once )
Yes from what I heard you can't finish but I don't know if that's true or not. In the mission adjectives it says to survive and It has a checkbox next to it. It says to survive and I think that if you hold out and maybe do some secret thing that it might go to some other cut scene. Just guessing but someone should do some snooping around for and leaked secrets about that mission.
This is off topic but what happened to jun?
Well I have played Lone Wolf at lest 100 times. (yes I do have a lot of time on my hands) but I have got close and I know it, my friend finished that level and I am a witness. It is a lot easier when you have the 5 skulls. The skulls you need are:
Black Eye- Shields don't recharge except from melee attacking enemies.
Thunderstorm- Major upgrade to all enemies.
Tough Luck- Enemies always make every saving throw, always dive, never flee.
Cloud- Motion sensor disabled with this setting.
And Grunt Birthday I don't know but the grunts exploding gives me a adrenalin boost.
If you want to try this it's fine with me, but all of my friends that try never make it close. Maybe it's because I assassinate them all.
This level is crazy and all but how do you get the sand map for slayer
I am sorry to tell you this but there is no way you can complete the Lone Wolf mission. Your spartan, NOBLE 6, is suppose to purposely die therefore the lady that speaks at the end of the cutscene can tell you about the data making it's way and progress on the planet Halo.
U can win you're supposed to survive for a hole ten min
You can't beat Lone Wolf it is a final Campaign mission in which you must die in order to finish off the Campaign.
Every reach has to die so thats when forge and master chief comes in
You can't beat lone wolf it is impossible. Your spartan (NOBLE 6) has to die to finish the entire campaign mission. It is the last mission so that's when spartan 117 (master chief) come's into the game.
It could be possible to beat lone wolf. First off It says "current" objective: survive. Which implies that there could be another objective later. Also It says spartans never die they are just missing in action so you may end up taking off your helmet and surviving and just dissapear. Leave the planet maybe even.
I did it I did! Well I think cause in my cut scene he takes his helmet off and sees a jet pack and then grabs his dmr and sjoots his way to the jet pack and the he flys away and disapears
You can't win the mission. If you survive ten minutes or more the Covenant will send their strongest soldiers with better weapons and the spaceships will start to shooting you.
The game is a foregone conclusion, Reach will get razed.
But you can survive more time. With this strategy:
-Hide in the attic space of the building. And don't move from there, use a sniper rifle to kill some of the enemies, but no matter how many soldiers you kill, more soldiers will come and they will have better weapons and shields.
I've finished it, it has a whole new cut scene. In the one where you die, you get killed by the Arbiter at that current point in time, that's the elite that walks in front of your helmet with a sword in his left hand. Arbiters were the only left handed swordsman elites until halo four. Finish it on legendary after surviving an hour and more Spartans (with Jun: spoiler) come in and help you. You see master chief and disappear, with you and him being the only survivors. Sorry for the spoiler guys, but it's near impossible to tell of this feat.
I heard that you have to survive a full 1 hour on legendary or get 100 elite kills then Jun comes in and saves you
I've survived for over 9 hours but nothing happen and killed 600 elites
I don't know exactly know what happened to Jun, but I THINK that he became master chief or Sergeant Forge from Halo Wars. This is what I think.
The last mission is just a little extra and as far as I know there isn't anything good or bad from playing this but testing your skills against enemies while low on ammo
