'Cause time passes, an' Ah'm bored, this was three years ago, but I feel like saying this:
-Felix(M)/WEAVILE
Ability: Pressure
Item: Dread Plate
*X-Scissor for strength against Grass, Psychic, and fellow Dark types
*Night Slash (High attack stats, plus power from the Dread Plate and STAB makes it an almost unsurvivable attack.)
*Brick Break for Pokemon that land super effective hits like Rock-and-Steel types
*Dark Pulse (STAB and the Dread Plate boost helps make up for Weavile's low Special Attack stat.)
My "Quickster," can land heavy hits or medium-power hits quickly with a decent movepool to help against super effective and ineffective targets. -Fishsticks(F)/QUAGSIRE
Ability: Water Absorb
Item: Soft Sand
*Earthquake (Boosted from the Soft Sand and Quagsire's Ground-type STAB, has the same effect as Felix's Dark Pulse.)
*Waterfall
*Rock Slide
*Muddy Water
Quagsire can hit like a truck and take a hit like a battleship, it takes several hits to take her out with the exclusion of Grass-type moves, Water Absorb also gives her immunity to Water-type attacks. Lucy(F)/STARAPTOR
Ability: Intimidate
Item: Metronome
*Fly (I suppose pretty standard for several Flying Types)
*Brave Bird (Powerful, powerful attack, while taking a tole on the user, it deals massive damage to opponents.)
*Close Combat (Used for pretty much any Pokemon it's weak to, they usually can't outmatch Lucy's speed, so her status afflictions don't cause much detriment.)
*U-turn (It lets me do some damage against opponents while switching out with something that does more damage.)
Her Flying-type STAB really helps out with Fly and Brave Bird, and the Metronome can let these powerful attacks increase 10-fold. Emperor Wu(M)/EMPOLEON
Ability: Torrent
Item: Mystic Water
*Signal Beam (Allows me to do more damage with standard Dark, Grass, and Psychic-type Pokemon.)
*Flash Cannon (Damages all that is weak to it, Wu's Steel-type STAB increases its power to make it a strong move.)
*Surf (Same case with Felix's Night Slash and Fishsticks' Earthquake.)
*Ice Beam (Sends Flying-types out of the sky, can take out Barry's Torterra in a single blow.)
I always like using a Water-type Starter in Pokemon games, most stick with Torterra, but Wu's high Special stats are great, and his SD goes up with his Sassy nature, unfortunately, this cuts down speed, and leaves him open to Fighting, Ground, and Electric-type attacks. Ridley(M)/Aerodactyl
Ability: Pressure
Item: Exp. Share
He's a low-level, so I'm currently working on him:
*Crunch (A keeper for when he stops learning moves, a powerful Dark-type move can prove helpful.)
*Thunder Fang (This lets him gain a boost against Flying-types, and utilizing his speed, gain the upper edge on Water-type attacks, a keeper, definitely.)
*Dragon Pulse (While a good move, I decided to keep it for him until I realized that his SA is one of his lowest stats. This will most likely be replaced with Rock Slide or Stone Edge.)
*Roar (Definitely not, while a helpful move, I really don't need it. As he progresses to the forties and then to the fifties and sixties, this will most likely be replaced with a move like Iron Head, or Giga Impact as he approaches level 100 faster. This will give him the upper hand on other Rock-types, which he can be weak to, as well as Ice-types, which can do some damage.
Not using any of that juicy STAB quite yet, Ridley, with his shape and strength drawing me back to my Metroid days, will be used as a quick striker, his Bold-nature also gives him higher SD, which will hopefully give him the upper-advantage to powerful Water-type moves, unfortunately, this also leaves him open to moves like Waterfall and Aqua Jet I needs a 6th Pokemon, I'm not sure which, though, I want to try using one who isn't too overused or underused, and with good stats overall.
