Crap. I liked his music quite a bit, and I was actually thinking of going to one of the concerts. He was arguably the king of pop music; he will be missed regardless of his past, I think.

I think it is sad that Michael Jackson died. I mean he was the King of Pop. He did frighten me at points with his social life but he was so uncomfortable off stage that it was sad. One thing that really depresses me is that the death of Farah Fawcett is being brushed aside in a way.

Baha, I was confused when I first saw the News headline.
I saw Michael at a press conference on the television and the headline underneath him said he was dead and I swear I screamed some mixture of vulgarities and then realized that it wasn't live.

True that. Sure Michael had done many things that where weird or crazy but I mean he helped so many people he was a kind person who helped charities and a lot of people over the years. He wasn't like most celebs (stuck up or fake caring) he actually made a difference in millions of peoples lives. Thats what i'll remember him for not the stuff that hasn't even been proven true. So please people try not to hate or crack some joke about MJ just yet him R.I.P.

This guy was a legend. He was The King of Pop & I really looked up to this guy. My mum walked in this morning & she said MJ is dead, I was very upset. Yes, I was ill at the time too. I watched a tribute on GMTV to him though, it was lovely.

I'm not one of those people who will respect the dead just because he is dead, despite of what he did in life. Everyone is entitled to their opinion. MJ brought a LOT of controversy, enough to change many opinions despite of his Music career.
Putting his social life aside, he revolutionized the Music World. We should all be thankful for that.
