My family has a specific version of A Christmas Carol that we always watch too: Mr. Magoo's Christmas Carol. I don't know what makes it stand out from the others, but whatever it is, I like it.
Also, we have the Best of Saturday Night Live Christmas, which is always hilarious.
The only version of the Grinch that is allowed to exist is the original animated "How the Grinch Stole Christmas". The other does not exist, so shut up.
The Polar Express is an interesting case. It's certainly a great Christmas movie with great acting (Helped by Tom Hanks playing 4 of the parts), great music, and great animation. But once they get to the North Pole, the movie gets really boring.
My other is a bit of a stretch. Generally, The Nightmare Before Christmas is considered a Halloween movie, but it's got the word Christmas in the damn title, so I think it should count. It has an interesting take on what Christmas would be like if monsters ran it, and it was really good.
