charmander-suicune
bulbasaur-entei
squirtle-raikou

and to catch them use ultra ***** and they're all over the place in kanto

after the elite 4, depending on which starter you get then a different dog will appear. if you get bulbasaur to start, entei will appear. if you get charmander, its suicune, and if its squirtle then youll get raikou.

i used the masterball on my suicune. i dont know if the dogs flee or not.

Use something with the trait ability Soundproof. Like Electrode or Mr. Mime, this will neutralize Raikou, Entie, or Suicune's Roar witch will knock you out of the battle. Soundproof will negate all sound based moves. Unless they just flee, I forgot, it's been awhile, but I mostly think it's Roar they use.

but yeah awsome, level 40 electrodes are faster than the dogs by miles... you could use em to ... er... wat the wait...

sorry man they do. it doesnt surprise me tho. I know cuz i was at my friends house and he found Suicune and it ran away. it runs and it uses Roar so i sudjest having a pokemon that eather is soundproof or has Arena trap! Or ya no what, y dont u just use the Masterball! Then they wont have time to flee! Arnt i smart XD

i was a total n00b and i used my master ball on Zapdos and thats the only legendary bird i have..... :$

arena trap > roar? i know roar > shadow tag + mean look + any other trapping crap for that matter, very uncertain about arena trap... and it's an amazing idea, since dugtrio would sureli be faster than even raikou with the right EVs at level 40...

(and logicali speaking, u can't roar your way out of an arena trap... "entei used roar! dugtrio fled the battle! dugtrio took the whole arena trap with it!!!" <-- wtf?!?!?)

a few things are for sure...

1. dogs run on first sight
2. dogs roar if they can't run
3. dogs retain status and health change
4. dogs are the hardest things to catch in the whole game of pokemon =]

Well there is one way to stop them from fleeing and Roaring you out of the park. Mr. Mime or Electrode with Taunt lol. They both have Soundproof.

Use mean look so they can't run or have a pokemon that uses area trap then be sure not switch out or mean look will wear off and try to put it to sleep so their easier to catch.

Use something to put it to sleep like Venusaur/Vileplume/Parasict. Next switch to a Pokemon that knows Baton Pass and Mean Look, Smergle or Umbreon would work for that. Once you used Mean Look Baton Pass that on to a Pokemon with Soundproof, like Electrode or Mr. Mime. The dogs will have no where to run then.

save your master ball dude. use it on one of them. i used mine on raikou. if you used it already, ultras will do.
